I've been cooking with sprouted lentils for a little over a year. I love the way they taste and how quick they cook up. I'll stick a few recipes up later, but right now wanted to show how easy it is to sprout your own!



Step 1: put 2 1/2 cups dry lentils into
a half gallon jar. Fill with filtered water
and allow to sit 8-12 hours.



Here is what they look like after 12 hours.

In effort to make something "new" I did this. It was a definite hit... but pretty much anything that is called "cheeseburger" is a hit!!
This does make 24 rolls, I use two 12 count muffin pans, if you only have 1 muffin pan, then 1/2 of the dough can be set aside and baked up as cinnamon rolls or plain dinner rolls.

This is comfort food for me. My mom would make these when I was young and I think it was my absolute favorite breakfast!

There isn't really a recipe, just a method. So here is what I do:

Homemade Hashbrowns
Scrub, wash, dry and grate several potatoes (approximately 1 per person).
Heat several tablespoons of coconut oil in a frying pan (cast iron is nice, but anything else will work).

Ingredients:

I've been trying to serve fish once a week, it's been good. I didn't grow up eating much variety of fish, we had salmon, trout and sunfish. So it's been fun trying new things. This would be wonderful for a dinner party! I have it serving 8, but you can just mix the same amount of topping and put it over 4 filets, which would be delicious as well!

How great is that?! Pie is indeed wonderful. I'm glad we have a day to celebrate it!!
As a kid my mom would make whatever we wanted for our birthday treat. I always wanted banana cream pie, but being able to decorate cakes made me pick a cake every time... even though I'm not very fond of cake. But you can't attempt frosting roses on pie...

Stuffed Mushrooms
1 1/2 lbs mushrooms
1/3 c. butter, softened

way ever since.Cut through to the seed and follow the line all the way around the avocado.Give a slight twist and pull the halves apart.Take a spoon and follow the meat going around the whole thing as
